Alphabet Story

There once lived a land of letters who were very clumsy, nobody came to visit them because they could never understand what they were doing. The letters moved about hitting themselves and falling over things like they were sleepwalking.

One day, five siblings from the vowel family got tired of everything happening in their village and decided to do something about it. They thought and thought, then they came up with an idea. The siblings were letter A, E, I, O, U and they worked together as a team to help the other letters stay upright and make sense.

They had a secret code, whenever they were more than two vowels holding the letter up, they used their letter names and one will stay quiet for the first one to talk but if it is only one vowel sibling, then they used their sound names.

Just the way you and I have nicknames used for us at home and formal name for school that was how the vowel siblings have theirs.

With this the siblings were able to form words and make sentences so much so that people came to meet them for help in communicating clearly, till the whole village became well known all over the world

That siblings are still helping and you can find them in the words you speak even in this story.
