Birth Story (Ehi’s Tale)

“Is it time! Is it time?” An excited Ehi skipped from one foot to the other as she asked, standing beside her was Leone, her brother. Angel Matilda who was in charge of the Osaka children smiled indulgently at the active pair.

“But they have married already, why can’t we go now?” Leone asked puzzled.

Well, they are not ready yet and it’s not your time too. So, can we go back now?” Angel Matilda asked. Betty who has been watching the wedding scene with fascination asked, “can we stay a bit? They look so beautiful, are they really our Daddy and Mummy? Will they love us as God does? Can we say hi to them before we leave?”

“Yes they are, no, they will love you like humans, cos no one can ever love you like God and no, you can not say hi. Off we go”

John and Mena oblivious to the conversation were immersed in the festivities of their wedding day.

A few years later,

Is it time? Can we go now?” Ehi asked in anticipation and excitement as usual. Angel Matilda shook her head.

“But why?” She cocked her head wondering.

“It’s not time, but God’s angels are preparing them for you.” Angel Matilda replied.

Nodding her head, she skipped back to the children section.

Five years later…

“It’s time, let’s go.” Angel Matilda called them. On their way out, she turned to Ehi, “Jesus wants to talk to you in the garden, we will wait for you at the entrance.

Entering the garden Ehi ran into Jesus waiting arms and climbed up his legs giggling as he showered her face with kisses.
“It’s time Jesus,” she said in between laughter.

Smiling Jesus said, “That is right, do I love you?
“Yes!” She confidently replied.
“Why are you going?” Jesus asked.
“I have been made and equipped for this time.” She answered.

“Why are you going with more angels, grace and strength than your siblings? Jesus asked.

“The devil has sought to have me but you have stood for me, I will overcome but I need the angels and strength for the battle.” It was obvious that was not the first time they were having the conversation. With love-filled eyes, Jesus hugged her and carried her to the entrance where more angels have joined Angel Matilda, Leone and Betty, who was seeing them off.

Before Jesus dropped her, he asked again his forehead touching hers. “Where am I?”
She hugged him tightly and whispered to him, pointing at her chest. “With me always.”

Jesus dropped her and gave Leone a high five. Betty ran to him and he carried her as they went back, while the angels left with the twins.

A few months later…

“Why is mummy crying?” Ehi asked Angel Matilda who is still with them.

“They just discovered your body is not behaving as it should and they are not happy with it.” Angel Matilda replied.

“Can I hug them or talk to them?” Ehi asked as she looked at them holding her body.

“Though your body is not responding yet, your spirit can feel and hear everything. So they can talk, sing, read, hug you and all, your body may not respond but your spirit will” Angel Matilda replied.

“Is this part of the battle Jesus told me about?” “Yes, it is.” She answered.

“Can they hear me? I want to talk to them.” Ehi’s gaze was fixed on her family as she asked.

“They may not be able to hear you physically but their spirits will feel it.” Angel Matilda explained.”

“Okay.” She nodded, smiled and her spirit hugged them both and dropped a kiss on their cheeks.”Don’t worry, it will soon be okay. We are in this fight together, Jesus won it before He sent me, and I have been prepared for it too. I will ask him to send more angels to you, the way they are with me. I love you and I will be able to show you how much soon.”

Ehi asked Angel Matilda many questions and kept her laughing with tales of everything she will do when she joins her body, from reporting Leone for being mischievous to being a big sister to Betty…

“Do you think they will believe me if I told them about everything?” She paused to consider. “Anyway, don’t worry I will… ”

Her voice rang loud and clear as the little girl fought the battle she came pre-prepared for.

The sixth year…

Months before her sixth birthday another angel came and told her it’s time. She was so excited! She loved spending time with Angel Matilda but she looked forward to spending time with her family more.

On the day it happened it looked like any other day; an unknown lady had come to her body, held her hands and began to read to her,then suddenly so many angels appeared followed by Jesus who smiled at her and kissed her head. That was all she remembered as she opened her eyes and saw she was in her body with the lady still reading and she could move!

“Mummy! She screamed excitedly as she jumped to go hug them for the first time.

Ehi is back!! She still saw the Angels with Jesus and she loved it that way.
