My husband and I were praying and a question dropped in my mind…

“Why are you praying as if I am coming to do it as you are asking?”

Huh? I don’t understand, what do you mean Holy Spirit?

Listen to what you are saying while praying. Do you think it’s at the point you get into trouble or need something and you call me I start putting things in place to intervene?

I have already made provisions for everything concerning you, nothing about you takes me by surprise. Don’t pray like you need to inform me or convince me to do something about it.

Come to me with the confidence of someone who knows the situation has already been sorted before it began and bring some thanksgiving along for that privilege.
