Though it Tarries… Having your way

I gave my son my tablet so he could play games, he got bored with it after a while and then dropped it. His sister seeing the tablet idle swooped on it, and began to use it, immediately Iko saw her, he wanted it again and so a struggle ensued…

They came to me upstairs and I told Iko I will get it for him, so she can have a turn with it. Rather than waiting for me, he went back to fight for it when he felt she had played enough. It ended in more tears and no success.

I tried reminding him of my promise and why he should have waited, then the Holy Spirit immediately showed me how we always behave like my son. We run ahead of him to jump into things because we feel He’s too slow. He wants to work with us and lead the way cos He’s the Waymaker and knows it all. Most importantly, He’s always on time no matter what the situation, your mind and the world says.
