Making the perfect puff puff balls

I made puff puff for my children’s school snack today. My motivation was, it’s a simple snack that can be done without fuss, but the balls always end up misshapen instead of coming out round and smooth

This always discourage me because I eat with my eyes before my mouth.

Anyway, today I have been thinking about a hack to those round and smooth shapes but none were working.

As usual, I asked the Holy Spirit for help and I felt the nudge to use the hand pressing method which usually is a total flop whenever in the past and I ‘informed’ the Holy Spirit(as if He didn’t know) that I am not good with that and I am not ready to get my hands into the mess and end up failing again.

Long story short, I went with the nudge… Was it perfectly round and smooth, no😁 but it was round and smooth, over and above my previous trials and expectations.

A Bible verse I saw today tied this story up nicely for me…

The men of Gibeon were under siege and sent a message to Joshua, “Come quickly and help your servants!’ they demanded. ‘Come quickly and save us!’ For all the kings of the Amorites who live in the hills are here with their armies.’ So Joshua and the Israeli army left Gilgal and went to rescue Gibeon. ‘Don’t be afraid of them,’ the Lord said to Joshua, ‘for they are already defeated! I have given them to you to destroy. Not a single one of them will be able to stand up to you” (Joshua 10:5-8 TLB).

Joshua was going to fight a defeated army, the Israeli army just needed to show up and God will handle the battle.

The same way I needed to do the hand pressing puff puff method(probably an angel was there to help me twist my hands properly just the way they were on standby to help the Israelite army.

There is no big or small problem God does not want to help us with if we would invite him into every part of our lives.
