In a dry and thirsty land…

I saw two rooftops recently, wondering what the big deal is about a roof?

Roof 1

Well, these two roofs had grasses growing on them, not well-planned flower beds… The wind had blown dust particles and some of them settled on the roof. Also, grasses grew from these granules of sand that no one had bothered with, and can be called useless.

The Holy Spirit brought something to my attention when I saw these roofs. These specks of dust rather than feeling hopeless in this barren wasteland of the roof, because they were not with the other soil where they could grow easily, neither were they in a “fertile” land in the normal scheme of things, decided to look beyond these to do what they were made to do…make things grow, it has been pre-programmed in it… it did not understand that it’s on a hard and dry zinc roof, it bloomed where it was.

Similarly, just like the soil on the roof, we have been preprogrammed to be fruitful at all times and everywhere, no matter how hard and dry our roof seems to be or where the wind has blown us, nothing could stop that soil on the roof and nothing also can stop you.

Like the Holy Spirit asked me, look at those bushes … What is your excuse again?
