Knowledge and Power lies in waiting
I had something else planned for tonight, but when I saw this post by Ini Abasi on Instagram, I knew it had to come here.
If I were to count how many times I have run with what God told me without waiting for the full message, my fingers and toes will be too small… I willl go into details later, let this be an introduction.👇

You only struggle because you don’t know.
I’m not going to tell you that God has a plan for your life that’s why things are happening to you. While it IS true that He has a plan, that’s not the point. The point is this, spiritual warfare is real. There is a constant battle over your life. And you can fight two ways in one. Through the Authority that you have in Christ, and through Resting in the assurance you have of God’s strength and love.
You struggle and get frustrated because you are constantly in a hurry, impatient to see things pan out as they should, and so you push to make things happen. It gives you ‘peace’ because it is temporarily and momentarily satisfying the anxiety that is assailing you. But what happens when it doesn’t work? You blame God. You don’t trust Him. He didn’t do what He said He would. But what exactly did you hear Him say? Did you hear what you wanted to hear? Did you hear what pacified you and refused to seek the deeper meaning? Did you hear through the ears of denial? What you heard.. Is it mirrored with/in what you know as the truth of the bible?
If we are being honest with each other, there are times, more often than you would care to admit, that your spirit bears witness to the fact that what you are doing or getting into is rubbish. But you won’t admit it so it’s cool. Just know that I know that you know.
I know what it is like to be afraid. To cry endlessly because life is just CRUEL. But I also know you and I have power. Power to live our lives with the wisdom of God. To control the atmospheres and realms of this world to work in our favour, according to God’s spirit within us. It is not magic. This is the life we are to live.
But what do you know of this power? Read Psalm 82.
Know this: You are a god. God is within you. The systems of this world are waiting for you to wake up and know who you are.
