Lety Loves Tomatoes
Once upon a time there lived some food that were all happy because people ate them, but the tomatoes were sad because Lety refused to eat them.
They went to meet her mummy and daddy and asked them for help because the tomatoes loved her very much. So her mummy decided to turn the tomatoes into a very delicious jollof rice or stew. The pepper wanted to join but Mummy Lety said, “nooo, let’s wait for approval before you come into our food.”
So the little girl’s Mummy told her the juicy tomatoes met her at the market and asked to be included in her food because they like her and want to help her body stay healthy. Lety was not sure but Mummy convinced her to give the tomatoes family a chance and so she did.
She tasted the food when it came chu chu chu on the spoon train to her mouth, do you know what she discovered? it was yummy yummy!
The rice was happy to have colour, the tomatoes were happy to be eaten and since then she has learned to allow colours into her food because they can be yummy too!
