Mimi and Sarah have a Question

It was a Saturday morning and everyone was in the room; the children were playing, jumping off the bed and running around the room while the daddy and mummy watched them while they pressed their phone.

Exhausted from their play, the two girls Mimi and Sarah collapsed on the bed in laughter while JJ their little brother picked up his building blocks,

“Daddy and Mummy I want to build something for you, he said.

“Okay,” Daddy and Mummy replied.

Sarah raised her head from where she lay on the bed asked, Daddy, is Mummy your wife and you are her husband?” chuckling Mr Bobo the children’s father replied, “yes, that’s right.”

“So, can a man marry a man and women marry a woman?” Mimi asked from where she lay beside Sarah. “Yes, can they and will they have children?” Sarah added.

“That’s a very good question, but why did you ask?” Mrs Bobo said as she dropped her phone and smiled at her children.

“You said a man and a woman will be husband and wife so I was wondering and I wanted to know,” Mimi answered. You also said a husband and wife come together to have children, so I wanted to know if a man and another man or woman and woman marries themselves they can come together and have children.”

“Okay, to answer your question, yes some men marry men and some women marry women but that is not right. How do they have children? They go to orphanages to adopt a child because a man and a man or a woman and woman cannot have a child.”

“Why is it not right?” Sarah asked while Mimi nodded beside her.
You remember we told you God created everything?” the girls nodded. Everything God made is very good but the devil wanted to bring people to his side so he copies everything that God made and tries to make the opposite of these good things, to deceive people to his side. What is the opposite of good?”

“Bad! Evil!” both girls quipped simultaneously.

“Yeah, that’s my girls High five!” Mr Bobo said smiling at his children. “Me too,” JJ said jumping on the bed. Everyone laughed as daddy gave him a high five too.

As I was saying, Mummy continued, when God made truth, the devil brought lie, God said we should share with others but the devil says don’t share because it will not be enough for you if you share. In the same way, God said a man and woman should become husband and wife and then have children, but the devil brought man and man, woman and woman together instead. You remember the story of Noah; when God told Noah to build a boat, God told Noah to go in with his wife, his sons and their wives the male and female animals also, that is how God wants it. But the devil will keep trying to tell God’s people his way is the right way and some people believe and follow him.”

“Is God happy with them, will He throw them into hell fire for following the devil’s way?” Mimi asked.

Mr Bobo, who had been listening said, “Do you think you can do anything wrong that will make me or your mummy throw you out of this house and tell you not to come back again?” Mimi and Sarah confidently shook their head.

“Good! The same way God is love, nothing can make him stop loving us. We can do something he doesn’t like and he will tell us and correct us but God never stops loving us.”
“Is that clear?” yes, daddy. Mimi answered.

“We now know the devil’s tricks too,” Sarah added.

“Daddy and mummy, I have finished your building, look at it. JJ called holding up his completed building blocks. Everyone went to meet him oohing and ahhing as he proudly smiled and showed off his creation.
