Oh! so this is it?
I love my body, I will not like anything to happen to it and I will do all I can to keep it healthy and safe. I cannot stub my toe and spank the toe or shout at it for being in the way of the object neither have I seen someone who nicked his jaw while shaving, chastising his jaw or hand for not staying still while the razor did it’s work rather we lovingly tend it, and do what we have to do, so the injury or whatever is not aggravated.
Nothing can make us not love our body, except we are no more in the body or someone not in their right senses.
For ladies there are some days we feel like going make up free or we let the hair breathe, no wig, no hair making, that does not mean we do not love our face or hair anymore or have forgotten about it because it is still part of us and the men, you may be shaving every week or so but the fact you let that week or days pass without shaving doesn’t make you care less for your body.
When we accept Christ we become part of him, automatically when we say in Jesus name, it is a pass code to our identity and when God sees me, he does not see Ufedo warts and all but his loving son Jesus who did everything perfectly and obeyed him in everything…1:22 says he has brought you into the very presence of God, and you are holy and blameless as you stand before him without a single fault…
Now we are part of Christ body and that is how he sees us and that is why he will never stop loving us, I can now understand what David was talking about in Psalms 139, also what Paul meant by Romans 5:35-39(NLT)…it says:
Can anything ever separate us from God’s love…? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble, calamity or are persecuted, or are hungry or cold or in danger or threatened with death…No, despite all these things overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us… and I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t, the angels can’t and the demons can’t.
Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest part ocean, nothing in all of creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For those who have newborns, toddlers, young children or adult children especially those ones who do everything right in your book or those who are pregnant after a long time of seeking, even those who are still expecting theirs…
Do you look at or think of your children with pride?
Do you look at them and say wow, this is mine!? Then vow to do all it takes to make sure they are okay?
Do you think of your future children yet unborn and imagine how you are going to drench them with lots of love, hugs and kisses e.t.c? I did and still do
That is God’s heart for Christ and automatically us because we form the body of Christ.
He cannot forget us, because we are part of him, neither will he say let me punish him/her because it will be like punishing himself.
I do not claim to understand the why of it all but this is God’s love simply put as he showed me today still in Colossians 1.
