Parenting with God series… Bright’s Children
Bright and the couple’s story here 👇(https://www.ufedoloveillah.com/brights-children/ ) is a story parenting. We (as parents) are caretakers/guardians to the children God has given to us, no landlord ever leave the responsibility of his house to the caretaker alone.
The things required for taking care of the children God gives us were made available before their arrival, it is our responsibility to each seek them out from the owner.
How do I know they have been made available? Look around you… Before the animals were created, the vegetation/trees e.t.c they require for survival were already available, same goes for the fishes in the sea and birds in the air, even man had oxygen and everything he needed for survival before he came into existence or have you seen a child that was conceived in the air waiting for the mother to develop a stomach and womb so that he/she can enter? Rather, the child is created at birth with everything required for conception, which keeps developing until the time is right. If God is so meticulous enough to provide all that is required before bringing the living and non-living things into existence why then won’t he prepare all the child will need for its full existence till death?
The school to attend, friends, clothes, feeding, teachers, help e.t.c are all part of the provisions, but it is left for us as caretakers to ask for directions to where they are. If you are employed as a caretaker of a house/estate it will be wise indeed to ask for the location and expectations of the owner of the property. The couple in the story struggled and kept hoping, due to ignorance, even when they found all the information about the provisions for the children, they still needed to go for the things available. If they had just read it and kept it, it will remain there waiting for them, nothing just happens…
Parenting is a partnership between God(the landlord) and us(the caretaker). Over the week I will share a few stories of my journey in struggling on my own and realizing that the load is not mine or my husbands’ to carry alone no matter the best intentions.
