Remember to Remember

Recently during a prayer vigil, the topic of remembrance came up.

Remembering our past victories and God’s past faithfulness helps us stay strong in the face of present circumstances, it boosts our faith knowing he has done it before and he would do it again because he’s the same yesterday, today and forever.

I remember when I was expecting some money that wasn’t coming as fast as I wanted, while I was worrying about it, the Holy Spirit reminded me of a similar scenario few years ago which I wrote about Here

Remembering it boosted my faith, courage, and strength. It did not exactly happen like the previous testimony, but the money did come and everything I was worried about was settled.

After that night of the vigil, I picked my journal and resumed writing everything again, so I could go back and remember… God has been faithful and everything, no matter how it looks always works out for good.
