The King’s Son and the Misdeed Magnet #childrenstory #salvation

Bree and Matt had been naughty and had forgotten all about it.

Some hours later, they went to ask if they could have some oranges. Mummy told them she was not happy with what they did, the two children felt bad and kept apologising for their wrong behaviour with a promise to do better until their Mummy accepted their plea and forgave them.

Mummy told them to go have the oranges they came for, Matt gleefully ran to get some but Bree stayed behind, “Mummy, I am not going to have any. I deserve to be punished for what I did, that would be my punishment.” She said feeling remorse full.

Her mother shook her head and in a firm voice said. “You do not deserve any punishment, I have forgiven you, go and enjoy your orange. When you are done, come with Matt for a story.” Bree ran to tell Matt.

“Once upon a time, there lived a kingdom with a powerful king who loves his people very much. So he put rules in place to help them behave well, there were so many rules and the people tried to keep them but even when they tried so hard, they kept breaking the rules. There were punishments for breaking these rules and the people were always going from one punishment to another, the prison guard was happy to serve the people the punishment because he enjoyed seeing people suffer. Some people even served punishment not only for their misdeeds but also for what their fathers or grandparents did.

When they cried, “it was not me!” The prison guard shrugged and said, “you are all the same.”

So it began to look like the loving king was a wicked king but the king did not like seeing his people suffer so. He then invented a machine called the misdeeds magnet, it was very small but powerful.

There was an issue though, someone needed to swallow this misdeed magnet, so all the misdeeds can glue onto the person but no one would go except the king’s only son.

The king and the son loved the people so much that they agreed for the son to go. He swallowed it and went, as he walked around the whole town, the misdeeds magnet pulled the misdeeds of everyone and they glued on him, the big, small, even the book of the prison guard with all the records of everyone’s misdeed.

The misdeeds hit him all over as they glued on to him and they were so heavy! The king’s son was tired and bleeding all over but he refused to stop till he has gotten and served the punishment for everyone’s misdeeds.

“Were the people grateful someone was taking their misdeeds and going to serve their punishment?” Matt asked feeling sorry for the king’s son.

Mummy shook her head, “They were not! Do you know what people they did?” She asked the children, and they both shook their heads.

“They laughed at him and called him a fool, who sent you Mr know it all! They did more misdeeds because they enjoyed watching the way the misdeeds hit him all over as the machine pulled them to his body.” Mummy explained.

Bree said in a teary voice, “if I were the one I would have left them to serve their punishment.”

“Well, he didn’t get angry, rather he pulled and carried all the misdeeds till he got to where he will serve the punishment for everything. The prison guard gleefully gave him the punishment, you can imagine how many punishments that will be for everybody.

So, he died. Then on the third day, the king sent his personal messenger to go and wake him up with his other invention, called the breath spray. The personal messenger went to where he was buried, with the breath spray he breathe on the king’s son and told him, ” wake up!”

Immediately, he got up and came out of where his body was kept. They sacked the prison guard, then created a new position called forgiveness guard.

Whenever anyone commits a misdeed and they go to the King’s son to tell him and ask for forgiveness, the misdeed magnet pulls it away but when they try to hide it or refuse to submit it at the forgiveness guard, the sacked angry prison guard severely punishes them. To get more people to punish, he often tries to convince people not to submit their misdeeds to the King’s son because it was too big and there will be no pardon, some believe him and become his prisoners while others ignore him and get pardoned. Because there is no misdeed too big or too small for the misdeeds magnet.

The King’s messenger was always there too, He helped those who asked to get back everything seized as punishment by the prison guard and taught the people how to enjoy the benefits of the kingdom.

They realized the King was not waiting for them to fail so He could punish them, rather He wanted the best in all things for them.

The king is God, the King’s Son is Jesus and the King’s Messenger is the Holy Spirit.

We are the people of the kingdom

While the devil is the prison guard.

The King’s Son is still forgiving sins, the King’s messenger is still helping. No case is too big, small or hopeless. Don’t allow the prison guard to tell you otherwise.
