The Sun and Google map…

It was raining heavily last week and my children were listening to the sound of the rain as it hit the roof. Suddenly, Tori asked, Mummy, is it God that told the rain to fall today?

“yes and no,” I replied.

“What do you mean?” Nuggie enquired.

Well, in the beginning; when God created everything, He already told the sun to take water from the earth and then give it back as rain, when the cloud is full.

So the sun and cloud already know what to do since creation. God does not have to tell them every day what to do… that was how the conversation ended.

Then a thought occurred to me…

Do you think the God who planned these details and put them in place from the beginning, did not plan your life before sending you to earth?

Do you think the one who put the sky in place… there has been no repairs or renovation since then, is confused about where you are now, or doesn’t know how to handle your situation?

When you are using the Google Map and you miss direction, what does it do? It recalculates again from where you missed it and redirects you back to the right road.

If a map can do that, then it doesn’t matter how far I have missed it, or the level of mistakes I have made.

Our detail and destination are in place just like the sun, clouds and sky; nothing can stop us from getting to it, if we keep consulting the navigation system (God) for directions or redirection.

God is not sitting in Heaven wondering what he will do with our case.
