Waiting Season 3

I was wondering if “waiting” means inactivity, but I realized from the different meanings that it means to be quiet in God’s presence, (meditate/still), prayerful(trust), do not complain(worry, disturb yourself)

In Matthew 5:25-34, Jesus emphasized worry, because it means God is more concerned about the birds, grasses and flowers than he cares about me.

Also, Proverbs 3:5-8 talks about the trust in waiting, which is handing things to God who will then direct our paths. Verse 8 reminds me of a story by Charles Capps of how he got his healing, on his sickbed, he took that word literally and began reading the Bible anytime he ate and then told God and his body that he is eating the word just like the Bible says, therefore his body is being healed. He continued like that and got his healing.

Can you take God literally too?

What verse of the Bible are you standing on for your situation?
