What am I Saying? The Power of Words

This morning I was walking to the junction to get a car to the office and I kept looking out for bike but saw none. The distance wasn’t far if you are taking a stroll but I wasn’t. Then a conversation I had with my husband while walking to the junction yesterday dropped into my mind.

He called and asked where I was and I told him I was walking to the junction. He was like, “why stress yourself, get a bike.” I laughed and told him that is how I trek every day.

I don’t know why that conversation came to mind this morning but I knew the Holy Spirit was trying to bring something to my attention. Immediately it clicked in my head, “why are you complaining of not seeing a bike, when you already said you trek every day 😳.

I repented immediately and told God, I am sorry for that statement, that was wrong. I do not trek every day, rather, whenever I step out of my house I see a car that takes me straight to my office.

Well long story short, few moments after this, I saw a family friend who was going to town and was held up by his neighbor for some second. I went to the car and he took me straight to my office.

I don’t know about you, but I believe this was a learning moment for me. In 2022, count and measure your words.
